Yes, it was Friday night
Yes, we do have Friday night sleepovers.
Now that we got that out of the way, we did beach theme :D
Details you say? Well, at first we were going to go all patriotic - you know, red licorice, white marshmallows, blue jellow, and Legally Blonde 2. BUT we decided to prep for the beach trip coming up next weekk:) Hmmm, where to start...
Since it's uber-hawt where us girlies are living, even at night, we came in bikinis and coverups. Mine was Missoni and I love it, love it, love it. ANYways, for the sleeping bags, we lay beach towels over them just for theme's sake. Our snacks were swimsuit-season healthy: bowlfuls of bite-sized watermelong cubes, cherries, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries. Of course, we don't plan on eating it all, but if you're going to bother doing something, do it right.
The looks on the girls themselves? We were practicing this summer's easy beach waves. We went tanning, and we achieved that perfect caramel glow. It's only going to get better from there, loves. ;)
Aaand I went the extra mile - there were goody bags! Designer flip-flops, Japanese oyster-pearl earrings, sparkling tanning lotion which'll look great in the sunnn, Dior water-proof mascara, pearlescant Essie nail polish, Acqua perfume (just for the name's sake), and D&G rhinestone sunglasses, all packed up in the cutest Juicy beach tote.
We played What Would You Rather and I Never with shots of lemon-lime carbonated mineral waters. (Geez, what a mouthful to say.) Some of the questions for you to use if you you're taking notes...
* Would you rather a) lose your bikini top in the ocean, or b) lose your bikini bottom?
* Would you rather have a mascara booger you didn't know about or a nose booger you didn't know about?
* Would you rather have to dig out a swimsuit wedgie while talking to the hot guy or have sand in the hair while talking to a hot guy?
The list goes on. But that was it, dolls! Movies and secrets commenced, and we woke up and got ready for the looong July 4th we had planned. Fun fun.
